and what if a day comes and we no longer can hold a conversation, with nothing else to talk about. and all we have in between us is an awkward silence, the only thing we can hear is just normal breathing and a pin drop.
would you continue trying to strike a conversation when the words no longer flows. when the things we talked about are simply the same over and over again. i do not wish to do that nor do i wish to hear that either. i pray hard and wish that our conversation does not only loiter around our work and nothing else. no more asking each other how we are feeling and all. no more asking each other whether we have other thoughts or not.
i would love to continue talking to you, but somehow it makes me feel that one day, it really will die down. and no matter what i do, i can imagine myself ignoring you and not even trying my best to strike up a new conversation. and by then, we will no longer be interested in each other. we will no longer be able to relate to one another.
so by the end of the day, what would happen if words no longer exist?
"and how will we react to it when we both no longer say a word"
